It is common that dental professionals in Mexico receive a Major as Dental Surgeon at the end of their professional studies, which is not the same as becoming a specialized oral-maxillofacial surgeon, the difference consists on certified full time studies for more than three years that are sponsored by our local university and by the Federal Mexican Government through the General Board of Professions from The Secretary of Public Education (SEP) and concluding with the grant of a professional expertise permit. |
